Desperate Housewives finale

In dramatic style, Desperate Housewives finished with the revelation that a husband was having an affair, Victor was killed by a piece of flying wood and fairview was flattened by a tornado in the process. Oh and Carlos lost $10M.

Just a fanastic series, but this break is going to kill me.

At last....TV overload

TV overload - Prison Break, Desperate Housewives, High Stakes Poker and Heroes all running. I'm in TV heaven.

High Stakes Poker - it just rocks, and this season they have really started to gambling like a tournament. Later in the series there will be a $500K buy in. It's so crazy, Daniel Negreano is playing uber-tight and leaving all the crazy action to Sammy Farha (my hero). Sammy just rocks, he loses, takes it on the chin and gets on with it. Bob Safi is a great amateur player too but I found it almost arrogant that he got up and left in the middle of a $300K hand. As if to say '$300K is chump change, I make more money in the real world'.

Thank f*ck the Apprentice finished

It's over. That ponce Katie Hopkins who is a born liar / schoomser....had to abdicate her position over child care issues....or more she was forced into it. It appeared she just wanted to win for winning's sake. After all, she admitted to stealing somebody's husband because she wanted to.

At 31, I must say I look a damn site younger at 33. Katie dear, I thought you were at least 37 or 38.

The winner Simon Ambrose reminds me of typica budding English entrepreuner. Scatty, all over the place, wacky ideas, short attention span, traditional risk taker. Where this fits in Amstrad I don't know, somebody like Simon should be given 100K and told to go find his fortune. These type of people never really do well in corporate industries because they are too creative, risky and their focus can't be contained for more than 30 seconds. Simon would probably make an excellent conman or IFA.

The Apprentice picks up

After getting rid of that Captain Biggles (Paul Callahan) from the Apprentice things have really looked up. He was a royal tit, who couldn't admit he was wrong or listen to others. Criticism was out of the question.

He also had a relationship with the other prize tit, Kate Hopkins who is a born bullshitter of the nth degree.....how suited they are.

The Finale is tonight, my money is on the Asian Lohit or Kristina...

The finale of Desperate Housewives season 3

Excellent finish to season 3....lots of cliffhangers lol.

Gaby finds that her new politician husband just wants her as a trophy wife (just after she marries him). She then finds Carlos her ex-husband at the wedding, and in true soap opera fashion, grabs him and kisses him straight on the lips....looks like the soap opera formula of getting-back-with your-ex is alive and kicking.

Meanwhile Carlo's girlfriend Eedy Brit who he just dumped for lying to him....hangs herself!!!!!
That's a shame, Eedy rocked as a character.

Lynette has been diagnosed with cancer and her mother moves in without asking and refuses to leave.

Finally Brie returns but pretends to be pregnant. In fact Danielle her daughter is pregnant and locked up in a nunery - Brie intends to bring up Danielle's baby as her own.

I'm really looking forward to the next season now.......

Ramsay street visit

Yup, I managed to get into Ramsay Street from Neighbours soap opera.

I was mighty proud, since watching the series since I was around 15.

The real name is Pin Oak Ct and real people live in the small culdesac. It was a precious moment being there as they are thinking of purposely building a Ramsay street in the future.

Residents of Pin Oak Ct/Ramsay Street are contracted to clear off when shooting begins and they cannot change any of the plants or outside of their houses. They also have to put up with Neighbours bus tours twice a day.

I met Janelle from Neighbours!

I met Janelle from Neighbours - yes at the abismal Neighbours Night at the Elephant pub in St Kilda, Melbourne. Booking is essential for this night, it starts at 6.30pm but the action doesn't kickoff till 8pm. My advice is to either get in at 6.30 pm and stand right at the front of the stage till 8pm or go at 6.30/7pm, go to the bar on the left hand side then enter the main arena bar on the right side at 8pm. We couldn't see a thing at the back, the music pre-event was awful and we were frightened to move as we didn't know when it would start. At 8pm it kicked off with Connor, Janelle, Doctor Karl and Bouncer the dog (a guy in a costume). They come in and if you can see over the stinking back packers who need a wash, you'll get a glimpse of the stars. After some questions and answers to the actors, everyone is told to sit down or grab a piece of the bar, then the actors come round. Karl didn't come into our area, but Janelle did and I was happy to get a picture with her as I think she puts really personality into the Neighbours series. Karl's band were playing later, but we had had enough by 9pm and left. I would only recommend for die hard Neighbours fans and when booking find out who is going to be there as it changes each Monday.

Prison Break Season 2, Episode 22 - SONA

Prison Break rocks as a TV show....I am amazed at how they keep the script going. Just when you thought Michael Schofield was about to escape with the money, the boat etc.......he just winds up back in jail in Panama.

This is no accident - Season 3 will feature the Panama jail and the escape from it....Bagwell and Bellick.

This is definitely the Great Escape for the millenium and when this aired originally I was in Canada and thought it was total crap - I take it back!

This episode rates - 9/10

TVTastic is here....

My TV review slot...and comments about current series.

My latest addiction forming is The Riches with Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver. It's about American gypsy's who by fate / chance steal the identity of a rich family. Acting is very good, a lot happens in one episode....more than can be said for October Road.

Minnie Driver plays the ex-con, drug addict mother from deep south exceptionally well. The storyline is well engineered with a touch of mystery and some trouble brewing for the family.

I'm hooked....9/10
